Wow. I mean, I had no idea. Today I logged into my Libsyn account after a long, long time, and to my great astonishment, over 9,000 people have downloaded the few episodes of the podcasts I did two years ago. I was just floored. Therefore, to keep The Music Professor Podcast going, I've decided to make shorter episodes and post them more frequently. I very much enjoy Grammar Girl's idea of having brief, but frequent, episodes on topics of a narrow focus. I believe this format will work well for me. So, if you've been patiently waiting for more episodes (and thank you to those who have written to me about the few episodes that I did post), new episodes are coming. I will do them in conjunction with a course I am teaching this fall at Temple University entitled, "The Art of Listening". Dr. Steven Kreinberg The Music Professor Category:general

In this episode, I examine several performances of the 'Prelude and Fugue in C Minor' from Johann Sebastian Bach's 'The Well-Tempered Clavier' (Book I, BWV 847) and also the song 'How Do You Do' by George Hrab from the Podsafe Music Network.
